These Spiced Chai Tea Cookies are meant to complement your afternoon (or morning, I’m a cookie monster, too!) coffee or tea.
They’re buttery tea cookies, with hints of chai spices and do well when dunked into your favorite hot beverage. I love that they are so dainty and small. In that way, they remind me a lot of Girl Scout Trefoils cookies.
I have to admit, my favorite step was creating the fork marks on the dough.
Enjoy these cookies as an after dinner dessert with a cuppa tea. Just make sure it’s a good one, like Twinnings!

I don’t know if you forgot to put some of the ingredients in the recipe or what it was but I followed it exactly and the cookies were just a pile of grainy mush, they wouldn’t even bake like a cookie.

Tamela, I’m sorry the cookies did come out correctly for you! They’re supposed to be small and on the drier side so that they’re great for dunking into tea or coffee. If you like sugar/tea cookies, I recommend trying Thai Tea Sugar Cookies – http://fancy-fork.com/2013/07/28/thai-tea-sugar-cookies – they’re delicious and the recipe yields dozens of cookies!
