Sam Rockwell is a born actor.
Early on, Rockwell knew he wanted to be an actor thanks to his parents.
At age five, he moved to California to live with his father after his parents separated.
His mother, Penny Hess, asked him to do a play with her when he was around ten years old.
Since then, Rockwell has always loved the theater.
"There's something great about sitting in a dark theater with a cup of coffee and not having any Vitamin D,
he laughed on the newest episode of "Sunday Sitdown with Willie Geist." "There's something great about it."
"I worked in restaurants and stuff, so I saw it firsthand," he said.
I think my childhood was a little chaotic, but it also shaped why I'm here. And theater is controlled chaos," he said.
